Traffic Day 2026

Traffic Day 2026 is a one-day professional development conference presented by the Oregon Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) in partnership with the IMSA Northwest Section and ITS Washington, held at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. The 2026 edition's theme, The Year of Sensorama, centers on the sensor technology that powers modern signalized intersections and intelligent transportation systems (ITS): sessions dig into public-agency experience with detection hardware, from vandalism of field sensors to day-to-day troubleshooting, alongside vendor demonstrations of current sensor technology.
