Inside Deep Sky: Studio Open House

Deep Sky, a Portland animation and motion design studio with roughly twenty years of brand and campaign work behind it, opens its doors for an evening as part of 2026 AIGA Portland Design Month. Attendees can tour the space, see how the studio actually operates day to day, meet the team and hear about the process that carries a project from first sketch to final frame. Freeland Spirits, a Portland distillery, hosts a spirits tasting alongside the tour. The invitation is deliberately open-ended: come by, explore the space, have a sip and ask anything, which makes this a useful stop for designers, animators and students who want to understand how a working motion studio is structured rather than just see the finished reel. Registration is handled through Eventbrite via the event page. https://www.aigapdx.org/events/inside-deep-sky-studio-open-house-character-design-talk-w-gaby-west
